Baby!!!

Okay, so I realize that I am so far behind in the blogging world that I never even blogged that I was pregnant! Well, on July 27th our little angel was born. Isalena Marie was 7lbs 4 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. At her two week appt. she was 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is growing like... well like our other children. Just wanted to throw a few pictures up and I will do more later!

Family Fun

Last weekend we got to go to Denver to see Aunt Chara, who had gotten Joe tickets to the Broncos/Steelers game. We left Friday afternoon, but we got tickets to the Jazz game for Thursday night and decided to take the kids. JJ was in heaven, his eyes almost popped out of his head! When the crowd was cheering "De-fense" he wanted to join in and cheered "be-friends". Chiara was also very excited to be there and half way through the first quarter she gasped and said "Mom, the Jazz are 20, that means they are winning!!!" It was a late game though, so at half time we asked the kids if they wanted to go home. At first Chiara said "No, I want to see who wins". When I told her we could check the scores at home the next day she looked at me with tired eyes and said "I guess we can go, I am a little sleepy".

While we were in Denver Chiara got to have a girls night with Aunt Chara and they went to see "Where the Wild Things Are". Joe and I took JJ to Buffalo Wild Wings. He was a little bit wild himself, I guess that was the theme for the evening, so the waiter brought him this hat and a balloon. Don't worry, Mark, we thought about you the whole time :)

We got to the game and realized our "Row 1" tickets really did mean the very front row. We had sooo much fun cheering, and I heard I was on TV. The Steelers won and we got on the train to head back to the car we parked in the RTD parking lot only to find...

Yup, the back window was smashed in. Whoever did it also vandalized 12 other cars in the same lot. The crazy thing is that they didn't steal a thing, they didn't even get in the car. Kind of put a damper on an otherwise perfect vacation! Thanks Chara for the awesome weekend!

Cabin Pictures

We got to go up to the cabin over the 24th. We took the kids fishing and 4-wheeling, they got to ride horses at the lodge and we ate lots of great food with family and friends. We love the cabin!

My Favorite People

For Joe's birthday, and because Garren and Sacia were here, we went to Lagoon! Joe left work early Tuesday and we headed up there. I told Chiara we were going to go somewhere really fun and she said "Is it McDonalds?" JJ said "Gamma's house.... Bampa's house?" They are so easily entertained! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!

Estes Park, pt 2

Aunt Chara drove out from Denver to grace us with her presence. My kids adore her and JJ still asks at random times "Momma... uh, Chawa?"

This guy was just a few feet from our car and we had a heck of a time trying to get him to look at us. There were so many elk that JJ still thinks there are elk living/eating in every open field he sees.

We saw one moose, and I don't think that JJ saw it, but he would look out the window and say "Moose... out dar!"

Estes Park, CO

Well, it has been three months since our trip to Disneyland and we needed another vacation! So we drove to Vernal to pick up Grandpa and Grandma and drove through Rocky Mountain National Park to spend some time in Estes Park. It was awesome! We saw hundreds of Elk, some bighorn sheep, and the chipmunks ate peanuts out of our hands. I would definately recommend this to anyone, very beautiful and relaxing vacation!!!

Awwww, aren't we cute? There was still a lot of snow up on top, in some spots up to ten feet. We went through on the first day it was open for the season and the snow was cut away from the road so they could plow the road.

Chiara turned 5 in April and she had a great birthday. We had a party on her birthday with Grandpa Ken and Grandma CeAnn.

She had 5 friends over for a party a week later. We had a late night pajama party, with pizza and a movie, and I was so worried about making it perfect that I forgot to take any pictures. Stupid!!!
